Our Amazing Team

We operate as a team to service our clients. When you work with M Squared, you get us all.

  • At M Squared Tax, we aim to be the leading CPA firm in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in international tax for individuals and small businesses. With deep expertise and a dedicated team, we provide exceptional, tailored service while fostering a supportive environment for both our clients and staff.

  • Our Core Values

Our firm has experienced significant growth over the past few years, and we are deeply grateful for it.

This success would not have been possible without our incredible team and unwavering commitment to our core values. As we continue to expand, it is crucial that we remain grounded in these principles.

With that in mind, we would like to share our core values with you.

Value #1 - Take Care of Our Team - We came from traditional CPA firms that measure staff productivity and growth by billable hours. We don’t do that. We recognize that each member of our team has different strengths and weaknesses that are not defined by number of hours. We cater to those strength and weaknesses. Recognizing the importance of family, we place a high value on work-life balance and prioritize family time as a core part of our culture. Building a supportive and flexible environment is essential to who we are.

Value #2 - Provide White-Glove Service - We are committed to providing exceptional, world-class customer service to our clients. While it may sound cliché, this principle is a cornerstone of our values.

We believe our clients deserve nothing less than the highest level of service and attention to detail.

Here are some examples of how we implement this value:

    • Response time - We promise to always get back to client emails in a timely manner (usually within 24-48 hours).

    • Deliver value-added services - Most clients seek more than just tax return preparation. For every tax return we handle, we will evaluate and ask: How can we help optimize this tax situation?

    • Accountability - We take accountability seriously. If we make a mistake, we will acknowledge it without making excuses. Instead, we will focus on making it right, and learning to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Value #3 - Commitment to Continuous Technical Excellence - We are dedicated to staying up to date with evolving tax laws. It is our responsibility to understand new regulations and keep you informed. Our significant investment in advance tax research software enables us to analyze, learn, and deliver clear, actionable insights to our clients.

At M Squared Tax, our core values define who we are and how we operate. They guide our commitment to supporting our team, delivering exceptional client service, and maintaining technical excellence in an ever-changing industry. These principles are not just words on a page—they are the foundation of our growth and success. As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to upholding these values and fostering meaningful relationships with both our team and our clients.

Moses Man

Moses founded M Squared Tax PLLC the day his first child was born (you can ask him why later).    It was a life-long dream to own and operate his own practice and he is grateful he gets to do this every day now for a living.

Prior to starting M Squared Tax, Moses worked at various CPA firms, from the Big 4 to local firms.  He also did a brief stint as an assistant controller at a hedge fund and quickly realized it was not for him.   Valuable experiences and connections were made during those years.

Moses enjoys taking on a practical and impactful approach to taxes.   If you ask him, the most rewarding experience is being able to explain complexed tax laws so that a 6-year old can understand them.

Professional Stuff:

  • Licensed CPA in Washington State

  • BA in Accounting from Seattle University

  • Masters in Taxation from University of Washington

  • President – Seattle Trust and Estate Planning Chapter

  • Frequent speaker at the Washington Society of CPAs

Moses has a love for the great outdoors.  A trail run in a crisp morning in Central Oregon is probably the best form of therapy for him.

In 2025, Moses Mans was honored by Forbes as one of America’s Top 200 CPAs, a distinction reserved for only the most accomplished professionals in public accounting. The selection process involved a rigorous nationwide review of hundreds of licensed CPAs and evaluated technical expertise, leadership, innovation, and community impact. This recognition underscores Moses’s commitment to excellence, trusted service and meaningful contribution to the profession.

Li Meng

Li Meng is a licensed CPA in Washington State. She has been a public accountant since 2012. Li received her BA in accounting degree from University of Nebraska and her master’s in accounting from Seattle University, where she met Moses. Moses was an adjunct professor at Seattle University and Li was his student.  According to Moses, Li was his best student and Moses asked begged her to work with him after graduation.

Li is also a mother of two young children. Outside of the work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Andy Pham

Andy is a life-long Washington resident, graduating from Newport High School, and receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Washington. After college, Andy worked for a local newspaper founded by his parents that serves the Vietnamese community of Washington.  At the newspaper, Andy’s tasks ranged from being in charge of advertising, design and layout, operations, distribution, and accounting.  Through his work at the newspaper, Andy gained valuable knowledge running a small business and helping others.

It was also through handling the newspaper’s accounting that sparked Andy’s interest to pursue the accounting profession. In 2018, Andy passed the CPA exam and received his CPA license.

After working at a small CPA firm in Seattle for two years, Andy joined M Squared Tax in 2020.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys travelling and experiencing new places and also loves being out on the golf course.

Doug Oas

Doug has over 40 years of experience in taxation of expatriates and foreign nationals.  He has lived in Singapore, London, New York and now calls Bend, Oregon his home.

Doug grew up in Seattle, graduated from the University of Oregon (B.S. Finance and M.B.A. Accounting) and is a licensed CPA in Oregon and New York.

He enjoys skiing, kayaking, collecting wine and chasing his two younger grandsons around.

Julin Tseng

Julin, a licensed CPA holding a master’s degree in accounting from Seattle University, brings seven years of experience from local CPA firms to her role at M Squared Tax.

Julin was fortunate to connect with Moses through Li. Outside of her professional pursuits, Julin enjoys traveling and embracing adventurous challenges, including skydiving, paragliding, and riding roller coasters.

She is an experienced accounting professional with a strong educational background, holding an MBA from Seattle University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Winona State University. With over eight years of diverse experience in accounting, payroll, and tax services,  Loan has successfully navigated roles in both corporate environments and CPA firms.

Proficient in various accounting software, known for attention to detail, and passionate about supporting small businesses in achieving their financial goals. If you are looking for a bookkeeper, Loan is the ideal candidate for the job.

Outside the numbers, he enjoys fishing and laughing all day with his kids—often over a chessboard.  Along the way, he’s pursuing his next certification and apparently enjoying sharpening his technical edge almost as much as numbers.

Sadie Graham

Sadie is our Office Manager at M Squared Tax. She plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional client support. With an associate’s degree in liberal arts and a strong foundation in business management, Sadie brings a unique blend of organizational expertise, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills to her role.

Sadie’s dedication to excellence and her proactive approach makes her invaluable asset to the team. She takes pride in postering positive relationships and ensuring that every client interaction reflects the high standards of M Squared Tax.

Residing in picturesque city of Bend, Oregon, Sadie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter and their beloved pit bull, Nala.

Mohit

Mo joined M Squared Tax PLLC with over 15 years in international personal, business, and state income taxes.  To him, it is important that anyone he speaks to can effectively understand any complex topic he is trying to communicate to them.

Before working with M Squared, Mo worked at legal departments, wealth management, and public accounting with high net worth individuals for both inbound and outbound plannings.

Outside tax returns and the infinitely incongruous intricacies of the IRC, he enjoys going for runs in nature areas (paved paths only and no snakes!), trying out new restaurants, and playing video games where you’re running around in nature (and fighting giant snakes sometimes!).
